FRITTER 5: AWESOME SAUCE
With 22 tracks of awesome, including every single style of music that a CD can handle, Fritter 5 has the goods; a little something for summer, since the Rugby World Cup took over our city in the spring. Fritter came about in 2007, when Wards MusicWorks got together with The Arts Promotion Trust to work on the first edition of Fritter, a compilation of original music originating from Northland. The success of this first creation saw Fritters 2, 3 & 4 come into being each. Each edition featured over 20 tracks, consisting of a vast array of genres and coming from musicians of every possible stage in their career progression - many of whom are now in the music industry full time. Wards began their support of the Fritter project with Arts Promotion Trust in 2007 as a means of providing an opportunity for Northland musicians to get their material out in the open. The 5th edition of Fritter again tested the patience of the long-standing ever faithful Fritter Project Committee as it is so hard to choose which songs to leave out.  Fritter 5 is not only a Digital Release, we also have CDs to purchase if you wish. Any money made from sales goes towards funding current and future Frittersl. You can mix and match the songs, in the order you want to hear them, or omit tracks that aren’t quite up your alley, and you can also print out the cover for yourself or pop it on your iPod/iPhone.
